Businesses who pay the CITB Levy, which supports the British construction industry to develop the skilled workforce it needs, may be eligible to claim for training.
The levy applies to all employers ‘engaged wholly or mainly in construction industry activities’. In other words, when construction activities take up more than half of your total employees’ time (including subcontractors).
There are also grants and funding available from the CITB which cover day-to-day training, including short courses, qualifications, and apprenticeships.
